Irida Studios Hotel & Pool - Plakias

We had a fantastic stay at Iridia Studios! the location was perfect, and Maria, the business owner, was incredibly helpful and kind. the room was comfortable with a large double bed, and it was cleaned daily. the hosts were always available and friendly, providing excellent service. I especially loved the bookshelves full of English language books that we could borrow. the pool area was lovely, and overall, it felt like a welcoming and homely place to stay. I highly recommend Iridia Studios if you're visiting the south of Crete. We will definitely be returning!

The owners were very hospitable and diligent. The room had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. The breakfast had a few nice touches, using local ingredients. They had a very friendly dog. Reasonably close to town.

Would have preferred a double bed. Adjacent property was a bit ugly.

Kitchen needs updating

We absolutely loved our stay at the Irida Studios. the spacious, modern and clean rooms were perfect for our family with two teenage children. the pool area was fantastic, and we enjoyed sitting beside it for a delicious breakfast in the morning. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, and they even catered to my specific food intolerances. We were also impressed with the well-equipped kitchen facilities. the location was great for exploring the area by car and we found some beautiful beaches nearby. a wonderful experience for our family.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at Irida Studios in Plakias. The hotel's decoration had a charming Greek touch, with beautiful paintings and traditional furnishings that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and accessible for senior people. The gardens were especially lovely, providing a peaceful and relaxing ambiance.

If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, I would appreciate having handrails installed in the bathrooms. This would provide additional support and safety, especially for those with mobility challenges.

Travelled with my two children and everything was perfect. Location was stunning and great, not too far away from Plakias beach. Overall experience was relaxing!

We had an amazing stay at a comfortable place outside the tourist village. The beds were wonderful, the best we've had in Greece. The small room was super clean and the breakfast was good. We loved the fact that the location was away from the touristy towns and closer to the beautiful beaches. The hosts were cute and hospitable. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights and had very nice time. They had kitchenette, prepared our dinners there. Could see garden from the window. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with a private safe, climate control, and a minibar.

Maria and Manolis were the dopest hosts ever, making us feel like VIPs. The room was clean AF and so comfy. The pool area was the perfect chill spot, and just a short walk away, we hit the lit beach and dope Tavernas in Plakias. The small size of the hotel made it feel super private, and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommend, fam!

The only thing we wished for was a sick party vibe at the hotel. It was all good during the day, but at night, we could've used a lit open bar and some tunes pumping.

the hotel was just a short walk to a stunning beach in a hidden cove, perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. the room was cozy and comfortable, with a modern and clean bathroom. the owners were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. the hotel also had a well-maintained pool area, perfect for taking a dip and cooling off. my experience was fantastic, with the hotel's great location close to the beach and the excellent service provided. the only downside was some noise from the nearby road at night.

Spotless small room - wonderful beds. Great location for exploring Crete by car - close to supermarkets. Lovely beaches nearby - including a hidden cove. Complimentary bottle of wine and fruit bowl. Friendly owners and beautiful external spaces.
